Spring Glen Island Park wedding
Intimate Glen Island Park wedding in New Rochelle, New York
Bianca laughed as she was getting ready, laughed all during her ceremony, laughed during the bride and groom portraits and laughed during the reception. Happiest bride ever. Julia Roberts smile meets wacko sense of humor.
Zahy was the calming presence by her side, cell phone glued to one ear, tracking all of the relatives.
The only person who may have had more faces than Bianca was her father. He broke up during the ceremony and cracked up during the first dance. The happy apple did not fall far from the happy tree.
Back in the day, Zahy would walk his mom to her Bible study meetings at the local Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses and would stay for the program to walk her home since he didn't have a car. That's where he first met Bianca, who harassed him for falling asleep. Years later, thrown together by volunteer work they became friends - and then something more.
The day Zahy received his first overdraft notice on his bank account, Bianca cheered him up and took his car to the car wash. Bianca was drawn to Zahy's humble willingness to serve others. Zahy was drawn to Bianca's ability to find the positive in a bad situation.
Bianca and Zahy hosted two families of parents, step parents, grandparents, step grandparents and a host of relatives for their wedding, followed by a fabulously tasty dinner and reception at Patsy's in New Rochelle, right on the water.
