Grace and Terence's adventure engagement session at Lake Minnewaska
Such a perfect early spring evening at Lake Minnewaska. Grace and Terence have loved hiking here, got engaged here and then choose this as their spot for engagement photos. They couldn't have done better.
Grace came to the Hudson Valley from Miami and Terence from California. They met years ago, liked each other and then got cold feet. But true love finally prevailed. They share a love of the outdoors and hiking. Terence had planned on proposing at the lookout shelter overlooking the lake but a group of skiers had taken over the spot, so he surprised Grace in front of snowy Awosting Falls instead. For our photos, we had the lookout shelter to ourselves.
Just as we were about to wrap it up and head home, the sun popped out one last time and set Grace and Terence on fire. It was the kind of epic lighting that seemed to for a moment make visible the magic between them.
